Here is what is about to happen in American politics. Our good old boy two party system is at it again. Democrats are demanding to close tax loopholes for the richest 1% of Americans. Republicans refuse saying it will stymie job creation. Republicans are demanding spending cuts. Democrats have offered to slash Medicare and Social Security benefits but not enough to suit the GOP.
The entire gridlock debacle is coming to a head. Our nation has the highest credit score of any other nation currently. If we are to not finish this negotiation, America will default...which is like saying we missed a payment to creditors. If a default happens, we will have our credit score lowered and will pay more money to borrow money from the Federal Reserve Bank.
Why does this matter to you and I?? It's simple, those bankers who OWN the Federal Reserve Bank stand to make even more money if we default. So it is IN THEIR INTEREST for it to happen. Republicans are holding us all hostage so that the default happens and their super rich buddies can really stick it to us.
What's going to happen? The Republican held Congress is going to effectively keep demanding the same thing and we will default. Shortly after we lose our AAA credit rating they will renegotiate with Obama and make the deal. Their buddies will make enough in interest payments to once again pay the taxes so they don't lose a damn thing...leaving us holding the bag and having to pay their taxes. The whole time they will blame Obama and the other idiot Democrats for the entire problem.
I for one have had enough of this bullshit. It's time for a good old fashioned revolution. Politicians are lining their pockets and campaign funds and definitely not looking out for their constituents. What is it going to take for average Americans to wake up and stop this insanity?
