Some Better Topics

Recently I know I've been ranting about politics. Obviously the situation is aggravating me. I wish more people were agitated and would take action.

I got an invite to Google Plus last week. First impression...pretty good. Not enough of my friends are on it for it to be exciting so far. Basically, the same problem I had with Google Wave. I like the control I have over who can see which content that I post. Setting up the profile and turning off all the notifications were the biggest time consumer. I'll definitely like it more when I have more of my friends on it. Anyone with a bandwidth cap is not going to be using the Hangout feature. It's a video chat conference basically but it uses a lot of bandwidth. I'm still experimenting with Sparks, but it doesn't seem all that exciting for me.

Last weekend, Kennard and Seth Bisett came to visit Dad along with Mike and Crystal's family. We had a pretty good time! It was a little cramped around here but we all managed to stay pleasant and I think everybody enjoyed it. We had a fantastic meal on Saturday night. Good times.
